Arsenal Boards - "Terms of Service" / "Posting Guidelines"

Flaming / Bashing
Hate posts, personal attacks, or general actions that may be considered "bullying" will not be tolerated. You should know what is acceptable and what is not. Being a little more specific: also try to respect the diversity. Not everyone is just like you, so be easy on subjects such as religion, race, etc. While it is OK to make a few jokes here and there, don't go overboard.

Trolling
If you're just going around trying to start fights, then we have no need for you and you will be permanently banned. If it's just a coincidence that every single thread you make deals with something delicate that will start arguments, then reconsider your posting style. Simple as that.

Advertising
If you're just here to advertise, you will be permanently banned and deleted from the system immediately. We don't give strikes on this one, it's more along the lines of the fact that people who advertise are just wasting our bandwidth.

Spamming
Spamming is not frowned upon here, seeing as most of the users don't have much to actually say, but that doesn't mean you should bomb-post with the same message repeatedly. Saying little in an effort to reply to a topic is one thing, but just saying "asdfasdf" or other text scribble is a waste and helps no one. This also applies to smilies/emoticons (Especially the face_mischief). If you're a mindless spammer, we have no need of you and you will be permanently banned.

Inappropriate Content (NSFW)
While we really don't mind it, it is a big problem if you post it without warning. If you're going to post content that is 'not safe for work' -or school- than change the title color of your topic to red, so those who are being monitored can avoid getting in unwanted trouble. If you're wishing to post content like that in a topic (Must be relative; don't just spam this stuff) then contact a moderator via PM or post. The moderator will change the topic title color and will remove your post if you used that method.

Grammar And Spelling
Please make somewhat of an effort on grammar and spelling. Using SMS-style language like "wut r u doin" is highly irritating and is not advised. It also instigates flame wars, so refrain from it.

Different Languages
The official language of this forum is English, so if you can't speak the language, then please don't even bother to register. It will be impossible the users to communicate with others without speaking the same language. Small posts that aren't in English are OK, if they pose a purpose, but simply posting in a different language just so the mods won't know what you're saying is forbidden.

Altering Forum Code
If you're hacking, altering the forum's code, or abusing bugs and/or glitches in the forum system, then you will be permanently banned, your IP address will be blocked, and your IP will be reported to authorities for illegal activities. (Yes, hacking is illegal)

Reporting Posts
The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review every single message in the database. You can help out by reporting any posts that are breaking the TOS. To report the posts, please post in the "Contact Moderators" Thread, which can be linked from the top menu bar.

Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.

Thanks,

~ The Arsenal Boards Staff
